— in-house.
Integrated Process
All in House
AERO runs an integrated process chain under a single quality system.
Controlling forging, machining, threading, heat treatment, testing and inspection in-house means fewer hand-offs, tighter tolerances held lot to lot, and complete traceability for the finished part.
Hot & Cold Forging
Net shape forging of high-strength alloys, with cold forging from 1.6 mm diameter. Forging develops favourable grain flow for the fatigue performance that flight-critical fasteners demand.
CNC Machining
Multi-axis CNC machining and precision turning to exacting aerospace tolerances, across alloy steels, stainless, aluminium, titanium and superalloys.
Thread Rolling
Cold/Warm thread rolling for high-integrity, fatigue-resistant threads — forming rather than cutting the thread form to preserve material strength.
Heat Treatment
Controlled heat treatment to achieve specified mechanical properties — hardness, tensile strength and durability — with process records retained against each lot.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Magnetic Particle Inspection and associated NDT methods verify surface and sub-surface integrity without compromising the component.
Quality Control
Dimensional, mechanical and metallurgical inspection at incoming, in-process and final stages, against the controlled drawing.
